Full time is supposed to mean the full amount of time a human being is meant to work before it becomes inhumane. Working full time in any role should be enough to pay your bills because all labor is dignified.

OPINION Taxes such as income tax, property tax, gift tax, estate tax, and sales tax are relatively modern inventions that arose as the government expanded its reach. These forms of taxation were never part of the Founders’ original intent, as they sought to limit centralized power and avoid the oppressive taxation they had experienced under British rule.

Well …. they put a tax on liquor and started a rebellion because the people who made liquor used the liquor to barter for goods and services and didn’t have any money to pay the taxes. And one of the reasons for the revolutionary war was the British tax on (Liquor).

We should abolish taxes on wages and earned income. Taxes should only be collected on *passive* income like rent, interest, capital gains, etc. Most low-wage earners get all their income from wages whereas the elites get all theirs from passive income.

Dimon is the only Wall Street megabank CEO to have remained in that post since the financial crisis of 2008 – notwithstanding his bank losing $6.2 billion gambling with depositors’ money in derivatives in London; despite five felony counts to which it admitted guilt; despite over $40 billion in fines and restitution for looting the public and rigging trading; despite years of providing banking services to two of the most notorious criminals of this century – Bernie Madoff and Jeffrey Epstein – and despite endless bailouts from the Federal Reserve to prop it up.
