WebQuests are designed to use learners’ time, to focus on using information rather than looking for it, and to support learners’ thinking at the levels of analysis, synthesis, and evaluation. The model was developed in early 1995 at San Diego State University.

Remote learning is an interdisciplinary inquiry-oriented activity in which most or all of the information used by learners is drawn from the Web.

BENEFITS
Interdisiplinary #STEAM  projects  / ideas  that students can do for themselves and share with others.
– sharing what you know has a mutual benefit
– a distributed model will endure beyond a single lifetime
– peer to peer learning reinforces and builds community.

#STEAM = Science, Technology, English, Arts, Math
All our projects involve one of these disciplines. Children can participate at what ever grade level they are in.

Online Webquest for students
#Remote Learning interdisciplinary #STEAM activities that they can use for credit.
#ARTS #TECHNOLOGY

You can make your own webquest if you have a computer.

TOOLS NEEDED TO MAKE YOUR WEBQUEST

Skills are important, and you ARE helping your students develop them if you are providing learner-centered / constructivist events, and hands-on (experiential), facilitated discovery.
