The script-flipping here is a remarkable: rather than focus on the severity and precedent of what’s before them – whether Trump should be prosecuted for allegedly attempting to overturn the 2020 election – they appear focused on the potential for a future president to be frivolously prosecuted. There appears to be little concern among the conservative justices for the substance and significance of the January 6 case.
1. He’s not charged with “attempting to overturn the 2020 election.”
2. The question of frivolous prosecution is the issue of this hearing.
No one is raising that we’re the SCOTUS to uphold presidential immunity with lines of “official acts” blurred, this would inherently give the reins of power to President Biden, yes?
“we have to protect trump from his crimes because if he is elected again he would actively frivolously prosecute an ex POTUS” is quite the argument.

Perhaps it has something to do with the wife of their unscrupulous colleague Clarence having participated in the deplorable events of Jan 6.
Supreme Court has ceased to have any moral authority; it’s just 1 more branch of partisan politicians, like courts in Russia & China. Decisions only for their political affiliation. Media & influencers need to say it, not mince words.
They will be structuring an opinion to cover Trump and all future Presidents. Clearly they refused to hear the case before them as the State and Liberal justices tried to do.
President Biden should say he’s looking forward to filling five Supreme Court vacancies that will be created shortly following his newly found absolute immunity.
The Supreme Court is beyond corrupt.
This is what bought & paid for Federalist Justices look like….corrupt sellouts with God complexes. Reform, accountability & term limits necessary are in dire need. You have to ask yourself, why is #SCOTUS hearing this case & why was it delayed so long? #SCOTUSIsCorrupt
They don’t want to go to prison if Trump is reelected.
Trump might dissolve SCOTUS. His needs having been met.
THAT might surprise them.
