The “vaxx and relax” strategy was a complete con based on, quite often, total lies.

The vaccine was never certified for prevention of infection. What it did was drastically reduce the mortality rate. Masks and air filtration have always been the best options for prevention.
As time goes on, I think more people will develop long COVID, and when they do, they’ll come to a similar conclusion that I did. And the support for COVID precautions will actually have a resurgence.
If COVID continues to surge, and people continue to develop long COVID in greater and greater numbers, and they discover that there’s really no treatments, they’ll want the masks back. They’ll want the testing back.
