ECP NetHappenings Speculation on logistics of a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve

Speculation on logistics of a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve:

US Government backed Bitcoin Bonds

The US Government could auction $200B in Bitcoin bonds with various durations (5-year, 7-year, 10-year, 20-year, 30-year)

Raise capital throughout all of 2025 to buy Bitcoin, pay back loans in fiat upon duration

Running the $MSTR playbook at a Nation level

Competitive rates, access to the money printer, ability to refinance at maturation, etc.

In 2024, the USG appears to have borrowed ~ $2.3T from treasury auctions.

A $200B capital raise would be ~ 8.5% of auctioned raises in 2024

———————- Jan 4, 2025———–

“I think these would sell like hot cakes… higher yields than treasuries, while providing the same USG guarantee. If the money printer runs too hot on one side of the balance sheet, Bitcoin is the vacuum on the other side of the balance sheet. Borrowers would effectively lock in a credit spread, backed by the biggest military power & economy. Holding massive amounts of Bitcoin on government balance sheet would IMPROVE credit rating for the USG, offering lower financing in future auctions… This seems like a no brainer… Perhaps this is
@saylor’s guidance at Mar-a-Lago…”

Fiat denominated USG backed Bitcoin loans.
You print the dollars, or refinance it at a point in the future.
Good Debt (borrowing at 4% to invest in an asset returning multiples of your borrowing rate).

Printing money to buy bitcoin.
Yes, but the money printing would only be a trickle because of the interest payments. And you wouldn’t have citizens in unrest about taking tax payer money to buy Bitcoin… you could skirt that narrative. Seems like the most logical step to acquiring BTC.

$MSTR is the US govt testing grounds for the market’s appetite for bitcoin-backed debt. They need this test to succeed so they can launch bitcoin-backed govt bonds. They need it to succeed, and the only way it succeeds is that $MSTR goes way, way higher.

I WANT TO KNOW WHY THE MEDIA ALWAYS SAYS,

“PORN STAR STORMY DANIELS,”

BUT THEY NEVER SAY “RAPIST DONALD TRUMP.”

CARROLL v. TRUMP (2023)
United States District Court, S.D. New York.
E. Jean CARROLL, Plaintiff, v. Donald J. TRUMP, Defendant.
22-cv-10016 (LAK)
Decided: July 19, 2023

Mr. Trump Digitally and Forcibly Penetrated Ms. Carroll’s Vagina

The finding that Ms. Carroll failed to prove that she was ‘raped’ within the meaning of the New York Penal Law does not mean that she failed to prove that Mr. Trump ‘raped’ her as many people commonly understand the word ‘rape.’ Indeed, as the evidence at trial recounted below makes clear, the jury found that Mr. Trump in fact did exactly that…

Mr. Trump forcibly penetrated her vagina with his fingers — in other words, that he “raped” her in the sense of that term broader than the New York Penal Law definition…

The trial evidence of the harm to Ms. Carroll as a result of being assaulted and digitally raped supports the jury’s $2 million award as reasonable compensation for her pain and suffering…

the Court’s determination that the jury implicitly found Mr. Trump did in fact digitally rape Ms. Carroll…

1/3/25 Happy Birthday Bitcoin 16 Years Old.

16th anniversary of the day Satoshi Nakamoto launched #Bitcoin

THE GENESIS BLOCK IS THE TEMPLATE FOR ALL BLOCKS TO FOLLOW
It established the format for block data and structure, as its header includes a version, timestamp, target difficulty, Merkle root hash, and nonce.

All future blocks in the chain refer back to the Genesis block.
BITCOIN HAD NO VALUE AT THE TIME OF LAUNCH
The Genesis Block did not instantly give Bitcoin value.
It didn’t trade for any price at this time.
It took 9 months from the launch for users to price and trade Bitcoin, at which point it became “money.”

There is no CEO, there is no marketing department.

Gold was a great analog of perfect money until the technology (internet) existed for actual perfect money to be discovered. Gold was analog money for the analog age, Bitcoin is perfect digital money for the digital age.

Oldest BTC prediction.

JACK MALLERS: Trump’s Strategic #Bitcoin Reserve would be the biggest economic announcement in American history. VIDEO

Bitcoin challenges the state’s monopoly over money while championing free and decentralized markets. It embodies a union of economic freedom and moral integrity, offering a bold vision of financial autonomy and respect for individual rights. Sixteen years after its inception, Satoshi’s invention continues to push boundaries and inspire change.

BURN NURSE
SKIN CARE RECOMENDATIONS

EQUATE FEMININE CLEANSING WASH
This is the absolute finest, gentlest cleanser I have ever used. It works great as a face wash (I’ve been using it that way for almost 10 years). It takes off most makeup and is appropriate for babies. It’s also cheap as sand.

If you have chapped or very dry skin, Bag Balm is the absolute gold standard. Bag Balm is great on hands and feet at night, put on natural fiber socks and gloves and wake up to new skin.

Sensicare is zinc and Vaseline, so it theoretically can be used as high octane sunblock.

EQUATE SUNBURN RELIEF GEL  5.18
For burns, cold water followed by aloe is outstanding. After Sun Gel -that’s mostly aloe, but with lidocaine- is extremely effective pain relief and appropriate treatment for first degree burns. It’s cheap, widely available, and good to have on hand.

For seborrheic dermatitis (aka dandruff or cradle cap), use regular old school Head and Shoulders, work it into the scalp or other affected area, wrap it and let it sit for 20 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.

Manuka honey is irradiated and sold as Medihoney ($$$), but raw honey is better.
Honey is a miracle – a living food that never rots.
I have three different friends who have cleared up mild psoriasis with honey. It’s got an absolutely beautiful microbiome and is one of the few natural humectants- that is, it draws moisture from the air into your skin, rather than just disallowing your body’s own moisture to escape.
Admittedly, it is a sticky pain in the ass to use- The best method I have found is to mix it with hot green tea until it has a liquid consistency, apply it to the affected area for 10 to 20 minutes and then rinse off, essentially like a face mask that can be used anywhere.
It’s wonderful for deep cuts and shallow puncture wounds, too- pack it in and cover it.

Kersasel is ideal for callouses as it is non-painful and urea based.
As nurses, we were not allowed to file or cut callouses, even painful, dry cracked ones. Removing them is a long process, even at a podiatry office. This stuff works amazingly well on calloused skin anywhere on the body, and on areas of skin around fingernails and toenails.
Moderately cracked, deeply calloused skin will often heal with minimal physical exfoliation used regularly.

Sunblock: you want zinc oxide or titanium dioxide, and NO OTHER active ingredients. All things being equal, zinc is preferable over titanium. They are gentle and healing, and create a physical rather than chemical barrier on the skin. These are often marketed as “organic”, “kid and baby”, or “mineral” sunscreens. Conveniently, physical sunblock does not expire.
Under no circumstances buy sunblock with oxybenzone or avobenzone in it. If you have some, throw it away. They are perishable , highly irritating, allergenic, painful in eyes or open areas of skin, and should not be legal.

For seborrheic dermatitis (aka dandruff or cradle cap), use regular old school Head and Shoulders, work it into the scalp or other affected area, wrap it and let it sit for 20 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.

Hydrocolloid bandages:
These are tiny little wound vacs. I would describe them as water resistant rather than waterproof.
They create negative pressure that sucks out pus, fluid, and infection.
They work great on blisters, bug bites and stings, stubborn splinters, and pimples.

Epsom salt. An epsom salt bath, or even just a foot and hand soak, restores fluid balance to the skin acting as an internal moisturizer, and, much like zinc, is both healing and drying to exterior skin. The change in lymphatic pressure is often pain relieving.

On triple antibiotic ointment and hydrocortisone cream:
These work well, but they are DRUGS. Do not use these for more than three days in a row without giving yourself a break. Too much tantibiotic ointment can upset your skin flora and cause cellulitis, and too much cortisone will thin your skin like any steroid

On recognizing strep: A large minority of people have streptococcus colonized as part of their skin flora. Strep is halophilic, meaning that unlike most bacteria, it drives and grows in a salty environment (like human skin). Puncture wounds can become dangerous because our salty exterior skin has been pushed down into a region that is unused to our solute-filled sweat. If you cover something, especially with a non-breathable dressing, and it becomes more wet rather than drying out, that’s a sign of strep. At that point you want to switch to an antibiotic cream, put a fan on it, and make sure that you don’t have any spreading pink sign around the wound.

On cosmetics:
Mineral sunblock, salt in your diet, lots of water, and occlusives rather than moisturizers work well for most people.
Stridex does the same thing that Lume and other super expensive “whole body”, antibacterial deodorants do.
Adapalene is over the counter and is very effective acne cream, even for body acne.
Finally, if you want to fight wrinkles, Retin A and Botox are both proven safe and effective, but you need VERY LITTLE of either. They are probably a better use of your money than anything that’s over the counter but expensive.
Please PLEASE do not get fillers. We still don’t know how they work in the body, nor the long-term effects of them.
