Understanding Bitcoin requires you to check your ego at the door and forget everything you have been programmed to believe about fiat and inflation.

The debt issue is a global issue that will impact each country in different ways, but all will reach the same logical conclusion, which is that all of the fiat currencies that are freely flowing against each other cannot work across a long period of time when not tied to a hard money asset.
Before 1971, the USD was on the gold standard, meaning that the USD could always be redeemed for gold, and as a result, governments couldn’t print their currencies at will (i.e., taking on more debt). Richard Nixon took the U.S. off the gold standard in 1971, and the USD became the global reserve asset around which all countries’ currencies rotate.
From there, the 2008 Global Financial Crisis became another turning point where governments across the world really started to turn on the money printer and haven’t stopped it since.

Nothing stops this train.
