#Bitcoin & Chill

11/27 – 11 years ago today, The New York Times called #Bitcoin a “gamble” that was “doomed to fail” The price was $1k

Made it very difficult for people to over all these years, to learn what Bitcoin really is. The “Media” has made it very difficult for the public to unlearn the lies they spread when they  choose to work as the PR firm for the Central Banks.

What will you tell your family about BTC when gathered at the Thanksgiving Table? Hope you’ll share ECP NetHappenings with everyone there. Yes they can just sign up  https://cyberplayground.org/

“You come at the king; you best not miss.”
#Bitcoin is up 150% since Vanguard advised its clients to steer clear of BTC and didn’t offer an ETF.

Michael Saylor is converting Bitcoin’s volatility into a multi-trillion dollar juggernaut. Here’s how he’s doing it.

Let’s use an analogy that Saylor likes to use. Electricity. When electricity flows through the power grid, it flows at extremely high voltage, say 440 volts. For most household uses, that’s way too much. You’d fry all of your electronics at that voltage. The electricity needs to be stepped down to 110v if you’re in North America. That’s the job of the transformer.

Conversely, heavy industrial applications like steel or aluminum manufacturing need the high voltage power.

Michael Saylor is using MSTR as a transformer to step up or step down Bitcoin’s volatility to suit both equity and bond buyers alike.

Bond investors love the idea of capturing the upside of Bitcoin with minimal downside volatility. This crowd doesn’t want “high voltage” Bitcoin. It needs to be stepped down by stripping away the downside volatility and repackaging it for the equity holders. They give up some of the upside in exchange for almost no downside.

The other type of buyer is the balls-to-the-wall hardcore Bitcoin maximalist psychopath hodler who will never f*cking sell. This crowd wants that “high voltage” Bitcoin in the form of MSTR stock which is 120% long BTC. It’s working as desired. MSTR is several times more volatile than BTC and outperforms BTC handily.

Saylor is using corporate finance and capital markets to transform Bitcoin’s volatility into the perfect product for both audiences. Their mix of debt and equity financing creates a leveraged long position in BTC for equity holders, and a free BTC call option for bond investors.

The floodgates are now open.

Crypto is focused on their coins succeeding in America.
#Bitcoin is focused on helping America succeed.
#Bitcoin ≠ Crypto

Apple crypto strategy clear: Tim Cook backs #Bitcoin personally but not as an @Apple strategy. During a DealBook Summit interview, Tim Cook called Bitcoin a reasonable investment for his personal portfolio but clarified that Apple will not adopt crypto payments or investments.

Companies that adopted a Strategic #Bitcoin Reserve this month:
– Rumble
– LQR House
– Remixpoint
– Genius Group
– Cosmos Health
– Jiva Technologies
– Hoth Therapeutics
– Thumzup Media Corp
– Acurx Pharmaceuticals

Incase anyone is stupid and asks Can Bitcoin be replicated?
All You just need is:
– No pre-mine
– A founder who leaves the project early and never sells
– No foundation
– Tens of thousands of nodes
– 52 conferences per year
– Global adoption across borders
– 701 million terahashes securing the network
– Thousands of developers building on open protocols
– 983 podcasts
– A community of millions valuing freedom & sovereignty
That’s all.
Bitcoin was a singular event, never to be repeated, even theoretically.

#Bitcoin has the same number of users as the Internet had in 1999. We are just getting started. And I’ve been here since 1991 and watched how EVERYTHING morphed up till 1999 – so 2x 10,000 hours try double that – I’m the OG!

Fred Krueger @dotkrueger
“Find something that is inevitable but not yet obvious.”
Bitcoin is inevitable.
But it’s not obvious to the tech money.
Jason is busy trying to poke holes in MSTR.
Chamath sold his BTC long ago.
Elon is barely interested.
Bezos hasn’t said a word.
It’s also not not obvious to wall street.
CNBC basically thinks it a ponzi.
Jamie thinks it’s a pet rock.
Buffet thinks it’s rat poison squared.
Vanguard won’t carry it.
So 99% of the big money still hasn’t figured it out.
But nobody stops the train.
Inevitable but not yet obvious.
That’s how you make big money.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING

Ann Bauer @annbauerwriter
I want to tell you a story about food that I’ve never told anyone before – because I’ve been ashamed, for 30+ years.
When I was 25, living in Duluth, MN, married to a helpless shapeshifting addict & mother to 2 little boys, I started some mac & cheese for dinner one night.

10,000 Michigan nurses are joining the Teamsters, in one of the largest organizing efforts in recent years.
The nurses are fighting back against a hospital conglomerate that has cut back on benefits, staff, and safety.
Make no mistake: workers are taking their power back.

WHO WORE IT BETTER?
After the Business Plot to overthrow the U.S. Gov’t in 1933 failed, don’t you think a lot of elite American families quietly backed Hitler as a “safe” investment?

After letting ERCOT destroy Texas, Texas now hates capitalism. Seems legit.
BREAKING: Texas AG Ken Paxton Sues BlackRock, State Street, and Vanguard for Illegally Conspiring to Manipulate Energy Markets, Driving Up Costs For Consumers
Texas will not tolerate the illegal weaponization of the financial industry in service of a destructive, politicized ‘environmental’ agenda.
BlackRock, Vanguard, and State Street formed a cartel to rig the coal market, artificially reduce the energy supply, and raise prices.
Their conspiracy has harmed American energy production and hurt consumers. This is a stunning violation of State and federal law.
Ten states joined in.
The ten states that joined Texas in the lawsuit against BlackRock, State Street, and Vanguard are:
Alabama
Arkansas
Indiana
Iowa
Kansas
Missouri
Montana
Nebraska
West Virginia
Wyoming

This explains a lot:
“Cumulative inflation since 2019 has been understated by nearly half. This has resulted in cumulative growth being overstated by roughly 15%. This is a large amount for just 5 years – peak-to-trough drop in real GDP during the 2008 crisis was 4%.”
Recession Since 2022: US Economic Income and Output Have Fallen Overall for Four Years
“These adjustments indicate that the American economy has actually been in recession since 2022. These conclusions are in stark contrast to the establishment narrative that the US economy is enjoying robust growth that for some reason the public is incapable of perceiving.”
Oh, so maybe Paul Krugman was wrong? Krugman is the personification of the disconnected establishment whore. “No one knows whether this process will lead to a recession” Jerome Powell Chair, Federal Reserve
If you graph 3 big ticket items- housing, college and healthcare, as % of gross income, since 1970s, you will see that inflation has been significantly understated for over 40 years. Everyone now knows CPI is nonsense, except the financial media, academics, various Wall Street pundits, and college econ majors.

Elon Musk has announced plans to eliminate the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. This agency is responsible for protecting Americans from predatory banking, payday lenders, and for-profit colleges.
@CFPB firmly opposed debanking and has taken measures to stop it.
The real reason @pmarca, @elonmusk & other tech oligarchs are attacking this agency is because it has protected consumers against scams they’ve profited from.
This is how you grind an economy to a halt.

Trump’s goal is to cause so much economic damage that the system collapses and his wealthy supporters can buy up the remains for peanuts and rule whatever system takes its place. It is literally the Russian playbook.

This fact is something that NO corporate news outlet will share with the public. Yet it is a central and defining characteristic of Trump and his gang. #Sanewashing  Trump and his entire circle are drug addicts connected to transnational organized crime and you are worried about some immigrants???

John Phelan, Trump’s nominee for Secretary of the Navy, appears to have absolutely zero relevant experience for the job — other than having hosted a fundraising dinner for Trump at his $38 million home in Aspen. He’s an art collector who runs a private equity firm.

Rudy told reporters today:
“I don’t have a car. I don’t have a credit card. I don’t have cash.… I don’t have a penny, they have put stop orders on my Social Security account.”

Elon Musk has called to “delete” the Consumer Finance Protection Bureau, days after the CFPB finalized a rule increasing oversight of nonbank digital payments to reduce fraud.

Elon Musk says the IRS will be audited by the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
@JohnEDeaton1
I was audited over a two-year tax period by the IRS. Incredibly, it took over 11 months and was one of the most invasive experiences of my lifetime. In addition to my time, the agent took up countless hours of my office manager and accountant’s time. After almost a year, the IRS paid me back $16K in overpaid taxes. Tbh, I would’ve preferred they kept the $16K because they cost me way more in costs associated with the audit. It’s a broken system and the thought of @DOGE @elonmusk and @VivekGRamaswamy auditing the IRS brings joy to my heart.

@HackingButLegal
“Several current federal employees told CNN they’re afraid their lives will be forever changed – including physically threatened – as Musk makes behind-the-scenes bureaucrats into personal targets.”
Welcome to my world since the year 2020!

Elon Musk is about to feel the wrath of Tesla shareholders.
Gavin Newsom just dropped a bombshell, excluding Tesla from ALL California EV tax credits.
Why? Musk’s anti-American antics don’t sit well, and Newsom is using this as a power move to boost new competitors, not reward companies that already feasted on government subsidies.

#TeamNewsome #ElonSucks @allenanalysis
Gavin Newsom just sent Elon Musk a major message:
Tesla might have ridden California’s $3.2 billion wave of subsidies to become the EV giant it is today, but now Newsom is done rewarding Musk’s anti-California antics.
Newsom is floating the idea of excluding Tesla from state EV tax credits, focusing instead on propping up smaller competitors to create a more dynamic market.
This comes after Musk’s repeated jabs at California—relocating Tesla HQ to Texas, endorsing federal plans to gut EV subsidies, and publicly criticizing California’s policies.
Newsom’s move isn’t just policy—it’s payback for Musk biting the hand that fed him.
Call it a massive Win for Newsom and a clear signal to Tesla that California isn’t here to bankroll bad behavior

@JoJoFromJerz Hold the fuck on.
So a whole bunch of Trump voters with preexisting conditions are now realizing that they voted to take their healthcare away, and a whole bunch of contractors are now realizing that they voted to take their construction workers away, and a whole bunch of farmers are now realizing they voted to take their farm workers away?
Shit we ALL told them would happen but they voted for anyway. And NOW that they have ELECTED him, they’re freaking out because they finally understand??
Are you fucking kidding me?!?

President-elect Trump’s team interviews pro-crypto Paul Atkins to replace Gary Gensler as SEC Chair. Paul Atkins, ex SEC commissioner, is also Co-Chair of Token Alliance with James Newsome who is ex CFTC Chairman.

Where are the Democrats?
Trump’s second admin includes FIVE billionaires and at least FOUR multi-millionaires.
They’ll personally reap the windfall of Trump’s next round of tax cuts for the ultra-wealthy, financed by cuts to the social safety net.
Is this really the “party of the working class”?

Trump Taps Financier and Art Collector With No Military Experience to Run the Navy: “The least qualified and most overtly political cabinet in American history continues to expand,” said Paul Rieckhoff, founder of Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America. Phelan heads Palm Beach-based private investment firm Rugger Management and formerly managed the investments of billionaire Michal Dell.

Such an important story.
