Republican leadership supporting Russia should be considered domestic terrorists.

Jack SMITH has gone straight to SCOTUS on the question of presidential immunity for Donald Trump’s Washington, D.C. charges and he’s seeking to expedite the matter. Reminder that Amy Coney Barrett was confirmed 39 days after RBG’s death. SURELY SCOTUS can decide whether Presidents are above the law in the same amount of time!

VOTING RIGHTS  Greg Palast Nov 27
Last week, Trump-appointed judges permanently barred the NAACP from suing government voting rights violators. Only the government itself may to sue to stop government itself from committing gross racial vote suppression — no kidding!!! The ruling by the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals literally blesses racist blockades to the Voting Rights Act in 7 states under its jurisdiction (AR, MN, IA, ND, SD, NE and MO). If the SCOTUS goes along with this ruling, the whole of the United States will be Jim Crow’d.
The court ruled that the NAACP is banned from bringing any suit — ever — for racial discrimination under Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act. The ban also applies to the ACLU (which filed an amicus brief on the side of NAACP) and every other civil rights org in those 7 states.
Only the government itself may sue. As it is the government itself which is the perpetrator of the crime of vote suppression, this ruling means that only the perpetrator of the crime may sue itself.

ლ(ᗒ⏠ᗕლ) Senator Elizabeth Warren has introduced in the Senate and continues to gather momentum would be a de-facto ban on self-custody and P2P transactions in the United States.

The world @SenWarren wants:
“Timmy I left an IOU in your Christmas card for $100. We’re going to have to take your birth certificate down to the bank. After I hand this $100 bill over and they verify our identities, then you can have it.” Fink, Dimon et al are likely behind this in the mistaken belief that they can ban normal folk from self-custody. A reminder: the US can only ban itself. The rest of the world will continue to adopt bitcoin.

Opinions are my own. tthis isn’t a minor or theoretical concern. One of the FISA Court amici posted a blog to warn Americans about this provision. I can’t overstate how unusual it is for FISA Court amici to take to the airwaves in this manner. We’d be foolish to ignore it. 9/11
