This is why the SEC is asking a federal court to force Elon Musk to testify in its investigation into his Twitter purchase.The SEC is probing whether Musk violated securities laws during his acquisition of Twitter stock and in his public statements about the company in 2022. However, the regulator says Musk failed to appear for scheduled testimony in San Francisco last month.”
Elon Musk was given four months notice when served with a subpoena to testify. He said he’d be there.
Then at the last minute, he started making excuses.
When the SEC accommodated him by offering to let him testify any time and any place he wanted…
He just flat out refused.
He has been defying a subpoena for nearly a month because, for some strange reason, he doesn’t want to answer questions under oath. Remember that Jack Smith has Trump’s Twitter DM’s. Elmo fought to keep them from being turned over to DOJ.
The SEC is seeking to force Musk to testify about his shady stock trades ahead of his acquisition of Twitter.
Elmo better choose his responses carefully because the SEC already knows the answers to all the questions. …ashes ashes they all fall down.
