Walgreens is reportedly in talks to sell to Sycamore Partners — a private equity firm with a track record of pushing the companies into bankruptcy.

Insurers’ denial rates are a critical measure of how reliably they pay for customers’ care. But they remain mostly secret to the public.

Corrupt Health Care System
A group of protesters in NYC gathered earlier today outside the Hilton Hotel where UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson was shot & marched along the route the shooter used to escape. Protesters chanted “Deny, defend, depose! Fuck the CEOs!” & “Free Luigi!” along the way.
United Healthcare is doubling down on the cruel and sadistic policies. These inhumane shitstains have learned absolutely nothing. The United States spends $4.6 TRILLION on healthcare—more accurately, sick care—four times what we allocate to our military. This has become a true national security issue.

#BREAKING: The only long-term acute care hospital in #WNC has announced it will be DEMOLISHED. Asheville Speciality Hospital: it provided treatment for traumatic brain injuries, strokes and spinal cord injuries, as well as respiratory, cardiac and wound care.
A hospital spokesperson cited the, “new building codes” combined with “deterioration from Hurricane Helene” has left them no choice but to demolish the building.
