D.C. Circuit reviews NLRB-brokered McDonald’s settlement

The US Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit on Friday appeared inclined to affirm a settlement approved by the National Labor Relations Board in a case concerning whether McDonald’s has joint liability for its franchisees’ actions. The settlement was reached during the Trump administration and ended an Obama-era NLRB case in which McDonald’s workers accused the company of retaliation.
