Sats represent a receipt received for spending computational power. If you present a sat, you present proof of power. It doesn’t matter if that power was sourced from a hash farm on other side of the world, sats = real world physical power receipts = cyber power.
It should be obvious to people why transferable cyber power (proof of real world physical power) is a BIG DEAL for security. Gives people the ability to physically constrain the abstract power and control authority of people & software in, from, and through cyberspace.

In this video, I discuss the many ironies surrounding Ben Bernanke’s winning the Nobel Prize in Economics. Not only did Bernanke miss all of the warning signs leading up to the Great Financial Crisis of 2007-2008, but he also set the US on the path of using money printing to monetize government spending. This has caused tremendous inflation and currency debasement, while hurting the working class and people of color the most.
Bernanke never shrank the Fed’s balance sheet, as he had promised to do, but rather went to work for two firms that are quite close to the money printers: Citadel and Pimco. In a clown world, Bernanke is definitely the best choice for this clown award.

‘Watchmen’ Creator Alan Moore: Adults Loving Superhero Movies Is ‘Infantile’ and Can Be a ‘Precursor to Fascism’
“Watchmen” creator Alan Moore’s hatred for superhero movies is well known, as he once called them a “blight” to cinema and “also to culture to a degree,” but he dragged them even more during a recent interview with The Guardian. Moore described adults’ continued love of superhero movies an “infantilization” that can act as “a precursor to fascism.”
“I said round about 2011 that I thought that it had serious and worrying implications for the future if millions of adults were queueing up to see ‘Batman’ movies,” Moore said. “Because that kind of infantilization – that urge towards simpler times, simpler realities – that can very often be a precursor to fascism.” Moore expressed worry with the notion that “hundreds of thousands of adults” are now “lining up to see characters and situations that had been created to entertain the 12-year-old boys — and it was always boys — of 50 years ago.”
