I’m posting on CounterSocial https://counter.social aka CoSo now cause everyone needs a backup plan if/when they decide to leave Twitter.
The reason I choose CoSo (out of all the federated open source groups that exist on mastadon which are using the original open source code) is that the owner of CoSo is Jester, an anonymous hacktivist. His thoughtful care and strategies used to keep us all safe is the stuff of what I call heroic.

There were many mailing lists and blogs, that I have run during the past 30 years.
Some folks have come and gone, and some are still here! The internet meet space has given me friends in the meat space on planet earth, and I’ve been very lucky and grateful to have these people in my life.
