Dr. Anthony Fauci says there are 12,700 ventilators in the ‘stockpile’: “If you don’t have enough ventilators, it’s obvious people who need it will not be able to get it. That’s when you’re going to have to make some very tough decisions.”

FAUCI We’ve got about 920,000 hospital beds, with most of them already in use. One estimate by an infectious disease specialist projected 96 million infections in the U.S., with 5 percent needing hospitalization or 4.8 million people.
If even a fraction of that number is concentrated at one point in time, it would totally overwhelm our hospital system, and you end up with patients dying in corridors, like in Italy.
Someone is doing open source ventilators.https://t.co/Pe3kdU555m RT, they need all the help they can get.

I’m an ER nurse being asked to wear the same mask my entire shift and to not gown up for traumas unless they’re bleeding profusely to save on supplies. We need some fucking WWII elbow grease to get us proper PPE and ventilators. The govt response is unacceptable.
