Jeff Yass is a major investor in ByteDance, the parent company of TikTok, and he resides in Lower Merion Township, Pennsylvania. Yass co-founded Susquehanna International Group (SIG), a Philadelphia-based trading firm, which owns a 15% stake in ByteDance. Yass’s personal share in ByteDance is 7%, valued at approximately $21 billion as of March 2024. SIG first invested in ByteDance in 2012, well before the creation of TikTok. As of January 2025, Yass’s net worth has grown to $49.6 billion, making him the richest man in Pennsylvania. He lives in Haverford, Lower Merion Township, with his wife Janine and their four children.

Now after the inauguration Trump wants TikTok to stay. Jeff Yass paid  Trump a lot of money and now Trump will want his cut TikTok $$$ payback to keep it going.
