BIG UGLE BILL PASSED !!!! IT PASSED !!!

THE READ THROUGH THE COMMENTS

Most Medicaid recipients likely have NO idea that they’re about to lose their coverage.

Call them: 202-224-3121

TELL THEM NO ON THE BIG UGLY BILL.

This is a really important point.

They renamed Medicaid in nearly every state.

Medi-Cal, Apple Health, Husky, SoonerCare.

So when they slash it, folks won’t even realize what they lost. That’s not reform. That’s sabotage dressed as branding. And millions are about to feel it.

Trump’s obvious neurological decay is the new Big Lie, and the mainstream media needs to stop being complicit. The random garbling we saw and heard from him yesterday was not early stage, it was an advanced degenerative neurological disorder that’s beyond disturbing. MSM: don’t sugar coat or normalize this – be like Lawrence O’Donnell, who said this last night:
“There’s this character named Donald Trump, with orange-colored skin and big hair, who shows up to all these events, sometimes he’s asked questions, and words come out of his mouth. But he’s not there. His mind … is gone.”

Bloomberg is just straight up saying the government is lying with today’s report.
Usually one of the most measured and neutral desks on the Street.
    Wow.

(Bloomberg Economics) — OUR TAKE: June’s
unemployment rate fell – defying our and the
consensus forecast for a rise – and payrolls grew at
a decent clip. But we don’t think this suggests the
labor market is in solid shape, as the unemployment
drop was due to exits from the labor force, while
payroll gains were exaggerated by a Bureau of Labor
Statistics model that seeks to measure the impact of
    business formations and closures.

  3. House Republicans, and Senate Republicans are complicit.MAGA Republicans in the Senate voted to cut almost
    $1 Trillion from Medicaid.
Don’t think this means the ACA and Medicare are safe now.
They are not. Nothing is off the table to make Americans hurt for the next 3.5 years under Trump.
Call your House Representatives and tell them. House Democrats stand united against Republicans’ One Big, Ugly Bill.

It is the largest Medicaid cut in history.
It leaves kids and seniors to go hungry.
It bankrupts our country to give tax breaks to billionaires.
Why would anyone vote for it?

  4. @RepJasmine
I went to the House Floor to stop the cuts to SNAP and Medicaid.
Republicans blocked it—wouldn’t even consider it.
So let’s be clear: they know exactly what this bill will do. And they do. not. care.

  5. There are 220 Republicans in the House.
All Democrats need are 4 to join us and we can kill the One Big Ugly Bill.

  6. House Republicans, and Senate Republicans are all complicit.
    #BigUglyBill

  7. PENNSYLVANIA JUST IN:
GOP defector Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick immediately fled the House floor after tanking the Big Beautiful Bill with a last-minute NO vote.
What’s needed: 9 more Republicans to vote YES and just 1 defector to flip.
The Pennsylvania Republican vanished immediately after voting, dodging colleagues trying to flip him.
Johnson tried calling him, but Fitzpatrick went dark… no answers, no texts, nothing.
The vote has been left open for over an hour as GOP leadership scrambles for options.
    Coward move.

  8. Congresswoman Maxine Dexter @RepDexterOR
The Democratic Doctors Caucus gathered outside Speaker Johnson’s Office to tell the American people the truth that House Republicans don’t want you to know: Medicaid cuts will kill Americans.

  9. House Republicans do not have the votes right now to pass the Big Ugly Bill and take Medicaid away and kill people. It would be a shame if word got out about this.

Keep making phone calls to their offices!

  10. House Republicans lied about cutting our Medicaid and they can’t get away with it.
    Call them: 202-224-3121.

    1. Congresswoman Mary Gay Scanlon @RepMGS
The Power of the People is greater than the People in Power.
Keep the pressure on. There’s still time.
Call House Republicans and tell them to #VoteNo!

While you were asleep, House Democrats fought to save your Healthcare and SNAP.
The fight isn’t over yet we just need 4 House Republicans to #VoteNo.

  11. 3:28 DISGUSTING
BREAKING: The House just passed the massive budget bill.

This legislation will gut health care, food assistance, clean energy and more to fund massive tax cuts for the super-rich.

It now goes to Trump’s desk.

Pennsylvania’s Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick stands as the lone GOP holdout on ‘big, beautiful bill’ vote
    @thejackhopkins
Speaker Mike Johnson wants you to know, “I’m grateful to God for being able to get this Bill done. Our rights did not come from the government; they came from God himself.”

@thejackhopkins On behalf of Democracy loving Americans, I say this to Speaker Mike Johnson: Go F*ck Yourself.
    @KarenSalitis

    Replying to @thejackhopkins
I agree with you, Jack. I’m in Northeast Pennsylvania. Our Congressman is Bresnahan and our Senator is McCormick, a rich hedge fund millionaire. Both are Republicans. They don’t give a rats ass about the average American or our struggles because they don’t have a clue what struggle is. They’re both rich. I know we’re fucked. But you’re spot on right, NOBODY is fighting for us. I’ll try to roll with the punches. I don’t give up easy. But we’re all in the wilderness alone. Yeah, some of the Democrats give good speeches. But we need action, not just words.

    1. @allenanalysis THREAD: They Lost the Vote. Then They Cheated.

The GOP didn’t win the Big Beautiful Bill.
They lost; on the floor, on the scoreboard, and in full public view.

Final tally when the clock expired:
      217 NAY, 207 YEA

      They were finished.

But Speaker Mike Johnson refused to close the vote.

Why? Because they knew they couldn’t win fair.

So they kept the vote open indefinitely, something rarely done unless you’re trying to flip people under pressure.

      This was a hostage negotiation.

Lawmakers were pulled into backrooms, phones were whipped out, Trump’s name was dropped like a threat.

And one by one, the “No” votes began flipping.

Republicans bent the rules and dragged this vote out longer than any in House history; just to reverse the outcome after losing.

This is why Americans don’t trust Washington.

Because even when we win the fight, they rig the clock.

      Let this be clear:

The House GOP held the vote open until they could flip enough Republicans to recast their votes. That’s not leadership. That’s legislative manipulation.

      Two Republicans stood tall:

Thomas Massie and Brian Fitzpatrick refused to cave.

      But the rest?
They folded like cheap lawn chairs.

If this bill leads to mass deportations, Medicaid cuts, and gutting of essential services.

      Remember:
      It wasn’t a fair vote.
      It was a stolen one.

      1. @GavinNewsom
17 million people just lost health care.
18 million kids just lost school meals.
3 million Americans just lost food assistance.
And $3.5 trillion | 31,809,217 BTC was added to the deficit.
All for a tax cut for Trump’s billionaire donors.

        The ultimate betrayal.
