Supreme Court Rules That Trump Should Remain On The Ballot Because,… of course they did.
Why would the Supreme Court supersede a state’s ruling? Because the majority of them are Trump supporters.
But they did NOT reverse the critical finding of CO and other fact-finders that he is an insurrectionist. The Supreme Court had the opportunity in this case to exonerate Trump, and they chose not to do so.
The case thrust the Supreme Court into a role not seen since 2000, when the decision in Bush v. Gore handed the presidency to George W. Bush.
Only voting will save us.

Ginni Thomas was directly involved in efforts to overturn the 2020 election. Her consulting firm also stands to gain if Trump is re-elected. Yet Clarence Thomas didn’t recuse himself from the Colorado ballot case ruling. How is this not a scandal of epic proportions?
The Supreme Court has ruled that the responsibility to disqualify Trump from appearing on ballots lies with Congress. However, as the legislative body, Congress’s role is to enact laws, and we already have an applicable law in place: Section 3 of the 14th Amendment. It is the Supreme Court’s duty to interpret such laws. Therefore, it seems inappropriate for the Court to delegate to Congress the task of creating new legislation for a matter already covered by existing law, rather than fulfilling its own obligation to interpret it. This action suggests a significant abdication of their judicial responsibilities.
