Over the past 90 days I know there has been some discussion regarding the need to turn over appropriate documents, from the MM WPBRA investigation of Epstein, to the SDNY.
We are now on a very short timeline as we plan to indict Epstein next Tuesday. While the arrest date will depend on his travel back into the US (he’s currently OCONUS), we need to get the docs to SDNY

Alejandro Mayorkas, the Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), stated in December 2024 that addressing child trafficking is outside the direct responsibility of the DHS once unaccompanied minors are transferred to the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). While acknowledging reports of trafficking, Mayorkas explained that federal law requires the DHS to turn children over to HHS within 72 hours, after which HHS manages their placement with sponsors.
Tracking failures have drawn significant scrutiny, with a DHS Inspector General report revealing that ICE failed to monitor more than 32,000 unaccompanied migrant children who missed immigration court hearings between 2019 and 2023. Additionally, the agency had not served notices to appear for approximately 291,000 children, leaving them without scheduled court dates. Mayorkas attributed some missing cases to families moving without complying with reporting obligations, arguing it is inaccurate to claim all unaccounted children are trafficked.
Critics and political opponents argue that these policies have enabled criminal organizations to exploit vulnerable minors, citing investigations where lost children were found working in dangerous jobs such as slaughterhouses. Incoming border czar Tom Homan has labeled the situation a crisis of exploitation, while Mayorkas maintains that the DHS investigates trafficking cases but cannot track individuals after they are legally released to guardians.
Defense contractor Leonardo is rolling out a surveillance system called SignalTrace that pairs license plate cameras with sensors capable of scraping unique identifiers from every device in and around your car like your phone, smartwatch, wireless earbuds, infotainment system, tire pressure monitors, Wi-Fi hotspot, RFID access cards, and yes, even your dog’s microchip.
It’s building a unique “electronic fingerprint” that can identify a vehicle by its device cluster alone, no plate number required. There’s no real opt out either. Disabling Bluetooth helps in theory, but most infotainment systems re-enable radios automatically, making this essentially the cookie consent banner of the physical world, except nobody shows you the banner.
