Dr. King was killed 58 years ago by a white supremacist in Tennessee Memphis, Tennessee. It was the headquarters for the KKK 1865.
The KKK still in charge. And they are returning to Jim CROW. they do not want any black political power representation in America and to all you black Republicans what you got to say now.

The rise of the second KKK was fueled in large part by the 1915 film “The Birth of a Nation,” (Pornography for racists) which was a fictional and highly racist depiction of Reconstruction that portrays the first KKK, that operated between 1865 and 1871, as the saviors of white America.
Tennessee NAZI Republicans did it. The final vote is in.
They just gutted the only Black-majority district to lock in more Republican power.
Black voters shut out, representation erased. Call it what it is, a white supremacy power grab.
And a shameful day for Tennessee, the birth place of the KKK.

A great opportunity for teaching, and for getting students (and others) to think and feel deeply about issues of representation. Just because this is the music classroom we don’t talk about history or culture — that’s in the social studies class (and we don’t deal with slavery until US history in 5th grade) or emotions (only the school counselor or psychologist does that!).
Many of the Hate songs being sung by “folk groups” at “folk music events” show the Intersection between Cultural Identity and Racist Ideology.
Scotland ‘s darker role in the slave trade is also well known.
Scots were influential in founding the Ku Klux Klan , including the traditional Scottish symbol of the burning cross and the KKK’s oath ceremony , which originated from a Highland custom .
Many of the “crackers” were Scots-Irish Protestants who had left Ireland in the 18th century.
The Scots Irish Protestants were also the Pirates of England and Boston Mass. who were the Slavers and Opium smugglers like the ancestors of Presidents Roosevelts, Taft and Trump .
History: Nazi regime systematically persecuted and murdered homeless people as part of their campaign to eliminate “undesirable” elements from society.
The Trump administration is using an anti-Ku Klux Klan law to prosecute Minnesota activists for demonstrating against ICE at a St. Paul church.
UNACCEPTABLE: Expecting moms are skipping prenatal care and considering unsafe home births because they’re terrified of ICE. That’s the definition of a public health crisis. ICE isn’t just enforcement anymore. It’s fear as policy. ICE is the new the KKK
