Carolla took out over $300,000 in PPP loans that were forgiven. He didn’t have to pay them back. It seems like he could have afforded to ride out the pandemic but he took government money instead.

The IRS has removed its acting chief lawyer, who himself was put there by the Trump administration. The lawyer’s replacement is reportedly friendlier to a “DOGE”-led “alleged push to share tax information with multiple agencies — or perhaps, given the lack of oversight over “DOGE”, to share it with Musk and his companies.
