So much has changed since Roe was overturned last June — including technology.

Today we’re releasing a Guide to the Internet Post-Roe, a resource that outlines how tech fits into the fight for abortion, and how we can push back.

In November 2022, we put out User Error: The Internet Post-Roe that outlined the ways that Google and Meta (formerly Facebook) were aiding and abetting the restriction of abortion access to people seeking care.

As we near the 1-year mark of living in a post-Roe world, Kairos is taking another look at the tech and reproductive justice landscape. What has changed? What has not changed? And what resources can individuals, communities, and organizations use to continue to fight for reproductive justice?

In this guide, we lay out the ways that tech interacts with abortion care a year after the Dobbs decision, starting with personal impacts and ending with how it affects our society as a whole.
