Phony VPN Services Are Cashing in on America's War on Privacy

Someone recently suggested I use Opera because it offers a built in and
free VPN.  After a little investigation, I discovered as of November Opera
is owned by the Chinese and that it’s “VPN” is not really a VPN but is
simply a proxy server.
Fake news and fake security abound !
