20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks from Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, able to climb one of these roofs and shoot multiple shots at President Trump in an assassination attempt. He has no criminal record.
Trump Rally shooter was reportedly found wearing t-shirt from
“Demolition Ranch” — a YouTube channel with millions of subscribers
that features explosive devices and firearms. – Bomb making materials found in his vehicle and home.
He worked at healthcare facility — employers say he was fine there.
So far no public evidence of public postings (political or otherwise),
other than, reportedly, a long unused Discord account with nothing
political on it.
Classmates say he was bullied and had “a target on his back” —
interesting choice of words.
FBI has his phone and sent it to HQ to gain access. I’m suspecting
they won’t find much of interest.
AR-style rifle used was reportedly owned by his father.
Crooks was a registered Republican voter and had made a small donation to a Democratic-aligned group in 2021. He was a 2022 graduate of Bethel Park High School, where he received a $500 “star award” from the National Math and Science Initiative. He was also in a media commercial that BlackRock made about promoting his school.

The 2 initial posts by #JonathanWillis were published very close to the event and in a different time zone; a soldier in his position would never go public saying this: beyond the duty of confidentiality he’d have been dishonorable discharged & arrested with all his life destroyed.
AP: Local cop climbed a ladder to confront assassin. Assassin pointed a gun at him, he retreated. Assassin was able to fire off shots before being killed by Secret Service counter snipers.
Secret Service agents fatally shot Crooks. The gunman attacked from an elevated position outside the rally venue at a farm show in Butler, the agency said.
Not long before shots rang out, rallygoers noticed a man climbing to the roof of a nearby building and warned local police, according to two law enforcement officials.
One local police officer climbed to the roof and encountered Crooks, who pointed his rifle at the officer. The officer retreated down the ladder, and Crooks quickly took a shot toward Trump, and that’s when Secret Service snipers shot him, said the officials, who spoke to The Associated Press on condition Of anonymity to discuss an ongoing investigation.
The officials also told AP that bomb-making materials were found inside Crooks’ vehicle, and bomb-making materials were found at his home.
