The Constitution doesn’t say
you can’t arrest a president.
A SITTING PRESIDENT CAN BE ARRESTED AND HERE’S HOW:
A FEDERAL JUDGE SIGNS A WARRANT.
That’s it. No impeachment is required. Impeachment is political.
Arrest is Legal.
Secret Service is notified first.
Their job isn’t to stop it. Their job is to protect the president during custody. They don’t get to block federal law enforcement.
FBI or U.S. Marshals quietly enter the White House.
Not a raid. A coordinated, late-night, low -profile entry through the West Wing, escorted by Secret Service Supervisors.
The president is told in a secure room.
They read the warrant, explain the charges, and allow a call to counsel. Handcuffs only come out if he resists.
1) He is escorted out by Secret Service – not abandoned by them.
2) A smaller, stripped-down motorcade takes him to a federal building.
Secret Service remains with him every second, even while he’s technically in custody.
IMMEDIATE ARRAIGNMENT IN FEDERAL COURT.
The judge sets conditions, and the 25th Amendment is real. This is literally the protocol.
