CLARITY ACT ADVANCES, ELIZABETH WARREN DENIED
The US Senate Banking Committee just voted to advance the CLARITY Act, crypto’s long-awaited market structure bill. All 13 Republican members voted yes, joined by 2 Democrats, ending months of stalled progress.
The Senate Banking Committee advanced the CLARITY Act with a 15-9 vote. The bill will head to the full Senate in the weeks ahead, requiring 60 votes to pass. Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse predicts it’ll be “signed by President Trump before the end of summer.”
Before Clarity
• Institutions understood the structure, couldn’t allocate at scale.
