It wasn’t luck. It wasn’t being early!!!
If you had spent 10,000 hours since 1991 on the internet then you were / are an expert in what happens when something becomes digital. You saw all the domain names being born / netscape / napster / listservs, etc. etc. everything that became digital energy thrived and became the biggest biz in the U.S. then it was copied by all other foreign powers.
Bitcoin is American!!! it was born from the American creative energy that brought mankind into the best nation on earth.
Back in 2012 bitcoin was hardly known. There wasn’t anyone to ask about it, no youtube channel talking heads. To make it worse, Banks didn’t cooperate with it. Bankers wanted to kill it, and their Government representatives wanted to help them kill it. You never knew when it would be outlawed, become a criminal act. It you got involved you had grit, you had balls, you had a hope that this was going to make the world a better place and wanted to fight for that to become true. You had to be willing to risk it all including your years of time since there was absolutely no one who could vouch for this idea holding water. After all risking money, time, and jail is a lot to sacrifice for making the world a better place.
When the good folks who started the net (now dead or in their HIGH 90’s) it was only meant for the department of defense and academics. They didn’t plan for money or security – therefore the net launched without either.
Until those things were invented then experimented with – and successfully implemented could this Bitcoin miracle even get started.
This is how the one and only true perfect digital money called bitcoin came to be, and nothing else matters. It is perfect. It has never been hacked. You might have found out about in 2009 but that doesn’t mean you knew what to do or how to handle anything or what you may or might not have had the opportunity to do, when you learned about it.
The only thing you have is the NOW. Fix the money Fix the World.
