The study found the drinking water was contaminated with toxic chemicals from firefighting foam in Bucks and Montgomery counties. Health study found toxins seven to 10 times higher than the minimum risk level. The chemicals have been reported at and around former naval bases in Warminster and Horsham as well as the Horsham Air Guard Station.
The contaminants were also found in communities surrounding more than 100 military installations and industrial properties nationwide.
